The NAV is derived from the live USD prices of the five coins, multiplied by their fixed quantities per unit, converted to INR at the live USD/INR rate, and divided by a divisor of 1000. Formula: NAV = (Σ coin × qty × USD price × USD/INR) ÷ 1000. Buy and sell prices include a small spread on top of the NAV.

An Annual Management Charge (AMC) of 1.0% per year, reflected in the NAV over time. No hidden charges, no account fees, no lock-in.

Absolutely. There is no lock-in period. You can sell your RZ5 units at any time at the current sell price. Proceeds are credited to your bank account.

Once you set up a SIP, Rize Exchange automatically deducts your chosen amount on the selected date each month (or week/day) and allocates RZ5 units at the prevailing buy price. You can pause, modify, or cancel at any time with no penalties. Minimum SIP is ₹10.

No — you own units of the RZ5 Index, not the underlying cryptocurrencies directly. You don't need a crypto wallet and won't receive actual BTC or ETH. Your investment is tracked and settled in INR, making it far simpler and safer for most investors.

The coin quantities in the basket are reviewed and rebalanced monthly based on market capitalisation. This ensures the RZ5 Index always reflects the most relevant top-5 cryptos. You will be notified of any composition changes before they take effect.

During the monthly rebalance, if a coin no longer qualifies for the top 5 by market capitalisation, it will be replaced by the next eligible coin. Existing unit holders will be notified at least 7 days in advance.

Client funds are held in segregated accounts and never commingled with company operating funds. The actual crypto assets backing the index are secured using institutional-grade cold storage.

Yes — you can create multiple SIP plans with different amounts, frequencies, and start dates from the same account. For example, you could have a ₹500 weekly SIP alongside a ₹2,000 monthly SIP. All SIPs invest into the same RZ5 Index and allocate units at the live buy price at the time of deduction.

Your Portfolio tab shows your total unit balance, current value, total invested, unrealised P&L, and a full transaction history. The NAV is updated in real time during market hours. You'll also receive a monthly statement via email summarising your holdings and any SIP transactions.

Under current Indian tax rules, gains from crypto assets are taxed at a flat 30% with no benefit of set-off against losses. Additionally, a 1% TDS is deducted at source on all sell transactions above the threshold. We recommend consulting a qualified tax advisor for your specific situation.
